The sintered metal construction ensures that performance remains consistent whether the pads are cold or operating at high temperatures, providing the reliability needed for both urban commuting and cross-country touring.

Integrated Thermal Protection

To ensure a firm lever feel during intense braking, the DP524 incorporates a high-tech ceramic heat shield on the backplate. This aluminum oxide-based barrier acts as an insulator, preventing heat from transferring into the caliper and brake fluid, which effectively eliminates the “spongy” feel of brake fade.

Smooth and Silent Operation

Despite their rugged construction, these pads are designed to be kind to your rotors. The non-aggressive formula results in one of the lowest wear rates in the industry, significantly reducing brake dust and eliminating the common “squeal” associated with many performance pads.
