Heat is the enemy of consistent braking. The SDP322 features a high-tech ceramic heat shield on the backplate, which acts as a thermal barrier. This eliminates brake fade by preventing heat transfer to the caliper and brake fluid, ensuring a firm, predictable lever feel even during long, steep descents or aggressive high-speed use.
